We currently have an opportunity for a Claims and Marketing Coordinator. As the Claims Coordinator, this position is responsible for filing claims, generating reports, and providing exceptional service and support of current clients, carriers, team members, and Advisors. As the Marketing Coordinator, this position coordinates agency event planning and system and report management for all offices.

Additional duties may include:
Claims Coordinator
• Provide excellence in customer service to existing and prospective client base as well as internal staff.
• Receive and process claims reports, inquiries, and correspondence via telephone, email, or in person.
• Review client coverage levels to ensure claim processing and handling is consistent with coverage.
• Receive and forward claims reports promptly to carrier to ensure timeliness of processing.
• Communicate effectively and courteously to clients, employees, and carriers regarding claim reports, status updates and service inquiries in a timely manner.
• Follow through on all inquiries, requests and submissions to ensure timely receipt and response.
• Process and analyze claims data and maintain data reporting (loss run analysis, worker’s compensation audit reports etc.).
• Follow claims management policies and procedures.
• Perform general office duties including answering phones, making copies, preparing faxes etc.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Claims Manager.

Marketing Coordinator
• Assist the Director of Marketing and Community Relations with the implementation of marketing programs and materials.
• Implement marketing strategy through various forms of media including social media, print, email (drip campaigns), etc.
• Coordinate agency seminars/meetings including scheduling, publicity, presentation material creation and assembly, participant attendance and payment tracking, and technical support to presenters.
• Generate and prepare sales reports for the department including collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing and sales data.
• Prepare information and materials for internal all agency meetings and all sales meetings internal or external.
• Coordinate vendor relationships; schedule and supervise event contractors as needed.
• Creation and maintenance of master client and prospect database to provide reports identifying revenue opportunities for sales.
• Maintain supply levels for printed materials; procure marketing materials and supplies as directed.
• Responsible for website development and maintenance including updates, as needed, to keep current.
• Performs system analysis on marketing initiatives.
• Coordination of surveys, blitzes and planning among the various company departments.
• Coordinates the Marketing RFQ process.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Marketing and Community Relations.

Position Skills and Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent college coursework required. Two years of work experience in a professional environment preferred. Missouri Life & Health and Property & Casualty Licenses or ability to obtain within first six months of employment is required.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, skilled at word processing, spreadsheets and database software, and the ability to organize, prioritize and manage daily activities to ensure timely and accurate results. The ideal candidate must also have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environment with frequent interruptions.

We currently have an opening for a Senior Products Supervisor. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service and support of current and prospective clients, carriers, team members and Advisors for Medicare supplement insurance. The position is also responsible for training and developing Senior Products team members.

Additional duties may include preparing quotes, proposals and coverage summaries to provide exceptional care to clients; verifying accuracy of proposals/issued policies/certificates/booklets and providing communication and documentation to client with appropriate correspondence; and providing client training on enrollment and implementation procedures, including online application software, when utilized. Duties also include training Advisors on relevant technical and professional knowledge and skills; developing strategies to identify and communicate service standards and efficient workflow procedures; and serving as the liaison between Senior Products team and senior management. The Senior Products Supervisor also keeps management apprised of any employee relations issues expressed by team members and approves timesheets, coordinates time off and distributes workload as appropriate to ensure coverage and adequate support for clients.

Experience: Five or more years in insurance related industry and sales preferred. Missouri Life & Health Producer License is required. AHIP professional certification is required. Successful annual completion of testing per Medicare supplemental insurance carrier requirements.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of current Medicare insurance regulations and other related regulations including COBRA, ERISA, and ACA along with the ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports, data and all client communication. The ideal candidate must also have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environment with frequent interruptions.

This position is responsible for providing insurance and risk reduction solutions to clients and prospects to proactively meet and exceed client needs. Role involves sales through established marketing process requiring development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, prospects and carriers.

Additional duties may include identifying latest trends in insurance marketplace and assess the appropriate programs, plans and options best suited for the specific needs of prospects and clients; developing and maintaining relationships with current clients, prospects, key decision makers and carrier representation to provide best outcomes; and developing strategic sales and action plans, including pursuit of referral business and utilization of cold-calling techniques, with clear goals and objectives to increase sales, consistent with agency mission and values. Duties also include verifying accuracy of proposals/issued policies/certificates/booklets and providing communication and documentation to client with appropriate correspondence; reviewing and communicating renewal calculations, utilization information and report data to clients; and assessing client risk situations to ensure they meet the agency’s standards and those of the companies represented.

Experience: Three or more years of sales experience with prior insurance industry experience preferred. Industry specific certifications preferred. Missouri Property & Casualty and/or Missouri Life & Heath licenses are required.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a paperless environment.
