We currently have an opening for an Advisor in the Springfield/Branson area. This position is responsible for providing insurance and risk reduction solutions to clients and prospects to proactively meet and exceed client needs. Role involves sales through established marketing process requiring development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, prospects and carriers.

Additional duties may include identifying latest trends in insurance marketplace and assess the appropriate programs, plans and options best suited for the specific needs of prospects and clients; developing and maintaining relationships with current clients, prospects, key decision makers and carrier representation to provide best outcomes; and developing strategic sales and action plans, including pursuit of referral business and utilization of cold-calling techniques, with clear goals and objectives to increase sales, consistent with agency mission and values. Duties also include verifying accuracy of proposals/issued policies/certificates/booklets and providing communication and documentation to client with appropriate correspondence; reviewing and communicating renewal calculations, utilization information and report data to clients; and assessing client risk situations to ensure they meet the agency’s standards and those of the companies represented.

Experience: Three or more years of sales experience with prior insurance industry experience preferred. Industry specific certifications preferred. Missouri Property & Casualty and/or Missouri Life & Heath licenses are required.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a paperless environment.
